The Chatham County Health Department’s Health Promotion Team is providing FREE smoking cessation classes. The classes use Freshstart, the American Cancer Society’s smoking cessation program. It is designed to equip tobacco users with the tools they will need to quit for good. Freshstart classes cover topics including stress management, the benefits of quitting smoking, methods of quitting smoking, and avoiding a return to smoking.

Also, while supplies last, the Georgia Tobacco Quit Line is offering 4 weeks worth of nicotine replacement therapy (in the form of gum or patch).

This three-day session will be held from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, May 19, 20, and 21.
