The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is the Adolescent Health & Youth Development teen leadership group. The YAC helps AHYD and the Coastal Health District by providing an adolescent perspective on programs and activities that are offered in the community and at the health departments.
The council is open to students in 6th through 12th grades who reside in the following counties in the Coastal Health District:
