Bryan Co. Residents Encouraged to Take Community Health Survey

The Bryan County Health Department, along with other community partners, is conducting a survey to find out what residents think are the biggest issues when it comes to health and quality of life. The survey is completely anonymous. Survey results will be compiled and used to develop a community health improvement plan.

“Our long-term goal is to try come up with some practical ways to help improve the health of residents throughout the county,” said Coastal Health District Performance Improvement Coordinator, David Lankford. “The first step is to identify roadblocks that might be preventing leading a healthier lifestyle.”

Similar surveys have been or will be conducted in other Coastal Health District counties. The Coastal Health District is made up of health departments and public health facilities in Bryan, Camden, Chatham, Effingham, Glynn, Liberty, Long, and McIntosh counties.
